Instead of praying we drown ourselves in football, porn, alcohol, eating, drinking,....I think God calls us to prayer and instead we do these things......

I'm saying when God us to talk with him we can find all kinds of others things to do....And football has become a religion to many.....In stead of interest in church at all....it's football.....am I right?

So many believers get caught up in the cares of this world. Most only give God time on the day of worship.
It is written that to be carnally minded is to be dead or will bring death.
And in the world today many claim to be christians with their lips, but are far from God in their hearts.
If God is not the most important thing in one's life, chances are one is moving away from God and not toward him. Yet, this applies only to those who stand on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who's souls were redeemed by the blood of the lamb.
And you, the author of this question are correct. Prayer is so very important. When praying, we are talking to the Lord. Isn't it important to ask God for help to escape the temptations of this world and to be able to discern between what is of God and what is not? Certainly. A man needs to talk to God to help him understand God's perfect plan for his life. If he doesn't have the help of the Lord, then it is his will and not the will of God he is living.

These things are Gods to some people not prayer. God said anything that is worshiped instead of him is an idol.

Porn is sin.....I agree
Eating is a necessity........
Alcohol is bad in excess......agreed
Other than that........prayer is very important.
