What flawed thinking you are your "scientist" have. And his study of pigs obviously did not include him opening his eyes or his head up his........well you get the notion.
Your scientist knows nothing about pigs, which is another reason to actually question whether he has done any research. Pigs are actually fairly violent animals who are higher up on the food chain than you think. There are not a whole bunch of natural predators who will take on a pig or boar in the wild, due to the extremely sharp teeth and the overall body bulk. In addition, the wild pig or boar can run fairly fast, which means they can out run you and your "fake scientist" friend any day of the week. Have you ever been around pigs? No, I did not think so. Even the domesticated pigs are dangerous.
So next time learn more about the topic that you are wanting to talk about before exposing your ignorance. Typical Christian, only going on faith alone regardless of the evidence and facts.

And what has Em Adjineri been smoking.
Have you ever gone up against a thousand pound wild hog/pig? They don't have to flee from a predator. The only predator they would have to worry about is a bear. A boar hog will rip a wolf to shreds, a mountain lion would also have a very hard time bringing down an adult wild pig.
Mr Em is an idiot. He proves that a certain segment of man kind is in fact getting stupider, de-evolving into dumb slugs that can't think their way out of a moronic idea.

I'm a creationist and I believe in evolution. (I guess a pig just flew.)
Evolution is adaptation to the LAND not enemies.
You don't know anything about evolution. You must know these misconceptions:
1.) Evolution does NOT claim we came from monkeys, only a COMMON ancestor... not the SAME ANCESTOR. (Do you agree that the monkey is most like us humans than any other animal?)
2.) Evolution does not mean a reptile changes into a mammal or vice versa for any other specie.
3.) Evolution does not claim the beginning of the universe.

Pigs are near the bottom of the food chain. Wolves and wild dogs eat the pigs while the pigs eat the smaller animals and plants. If every animal had the mechanisms to escape from every predator none of the other animals would be able to eat and nature would be teh screwed.
It's called the Circle of Life. Didn't you see The Lion King?
Try again.
(Hey, maybe some pigs did evolve. Wild boars have some pretty fierce tusks to fight with)

Where is natural selection occurring on pigs? It seems to me that unnatural selection is working very well on many of the animals we eat.
By simply selecting which traits get passed on we've produced animals that have so much edible meat on them they could no longer survive in the wild.
"Creationists will believe in evolution when pigs fly." Ok. I'm not sure why anyone should be concerned about that. Believe whatever you like and be happy with it. You shouldn't need to make up lies and halftruths to support your belief if you actually believe.

Evolution works slowly, much slower than your imagined magical solution for the pigs. Actually, ancient Sumerian records support Evolution but with an interesting twist. It seems that aliens did come here and they found an advanced primate. Then, they bound upon it their "image". Could have been the first case of genetic engineering. What came out was the adamu (primitive worker) or man.

"Creationists will believe in evolution when pigs fly."
This statement, clearly shows the ignorance of the average creationist. They haven't got the first clue about science, yet defy scientists to educate them.
Thankfully, their kind is becoming less and less frequent and their cries are being lost in the growing realization that Evolution is an undeniable fact.
Good riddance to bad rubbish I say...

Because of mutations.
Mutations are almost always HARMFUL. Provide proof (as opposed to theory) of beneficial mutations in animals (without scientific interference) and billions of harmful mutations can be ushered in to show degeneration is the order of the day.
Creationists will believe in evolution when evolutionists believe in creation.

yeah, thats a bunk argument...pigs could also simply grow fangs and poison as well...there are many ways they could defend themselves besides simply growing wings...that really wouldnt suit them at all actually, the weight ratio alone makes that really stupid...their wingspan would have to be ridiculous...besides, even if pigs did grow wings, creationists still would believe in evolution...if something that trivial would make you change your ideals then you are not true to your faith at all
