if I'm a member of a ymca can I go to any of them?

I'm a member of a local ymca... can I either switch my membership to a different one or visit ones when I'm out of town free of charge.

The ymca is non profit organization, In my state you can and I would assume you can in others. They do a great work and help a lot of people.

What does your membership information say? Have you looked on-line? I suspect the rules are different from Y to Y but wherever you go may have a list of Y's that reciprocate or honor their memberships.
