There probably wasn't time. The Pharaoh's troops were right behind them. But I understand they borrowed everything they could from their Egyptian neighbors when they left. How is that different from theft???

Well Moses didn't part the Red Sea, God did. But God did leave a reminder of the parting of the Red Sea, there is a red flower that grows in the center of the Red Sea, that was left by God as a reminder of His great Miracle. A lot of people don't know that, but it still grows there today, just as a Rainbow appears after a Rain, as a reminder of the Great Flood. No mention of any Shipwreck.

Moses was leading a million+ freed Israelites out of captivity from Egypt & he had the Pharaoh and his army in hot pursuit. Moses only concern was obeying Almighty God and getting the Israelites to safety. Moses knew Almighty God would provide for all their needs and the Egyptian people had loaded down the freed Israelites with plenty of gold, silver, and jeweled "loot" before they left Egypt.
So the answer is NO.

There was no time to expend at looting or deep sea fishing, the army of Egypt was coming after them.

Noah wasn't famous for looting. Mohammad and his crew of thugs were. He often raided caravans, and told his followers to give a portion of the spoils to "Allah and his apostle"
8:41 "And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger..."
7:97 "Did the people of the towns feel secure against the coming of Our wrath by night while they were asleep?"

He got Muhammed to help him. From what I hear, Muhammed was quite the looter. Then again, what would be of value in the middle of the red sea.
