My family loves my cheesy ham and potato casserole. Layer the bottom of a casserole dish with as much ham as you like with shredded cheddar cheese in the layers, top the ham with a thin layer of chicken gravy, layer the top with mashed potato's. Whip an egg white and "spread" it over the top of the potato's and bake for 20-30 minutes at 400. I usually mix some shredded cheese into the potato's also. It's a very homey, comfort style food.

I got this from Kraft Foods
Creamy Ham casserole
1/2 cup Miracle whip light
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups rotini pasta, cooked, drained
2 cups broccoli florets
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped ham
1/2 green or red pepper, chopped
1 1/2 cups Kraft shredded cheddar cheese, divided
seasoned croutons (optional)
Mix dressing and milk in large bowl. Add pasta, broccoli, ham, peppers and 1 cup of the cheese; mix lightly.
Spoon into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with croutons.

I make a creamy garlic butter sauce, or alfredo sauce, and chop the ham then saute it for a few minutes then add some frozen peas to it and blend well with the sauce and pour over pasta. GREAT. This dish is great using grilled shrimp or grilled chicken as well
Here's a quick alfredo sauce recipe

Alfredo Sauce

2 cups cream (heavy, or 35% cream is best)
1/4 cup cold butter
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper
pasta (fettucini, penne or tortellini are great)
fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
extra parmesan cheese
just a pinch of nutmeg

Heat a large saucepan over high heat until very hot. Add just enough cold water to cover the bottom of the pan. Let the water evaporate (it will do this quickly) but make sure there are a few drops left in the pan. This will keep the cream from scorching and burning on the bottom of the pan. Remove the pan from the heat.

Add the cream to the pan and return it to the heat. When the cream comes to a boil, reduce heat to medium/ medium high and continue to boil until it is reduced by half, and add pinch of nutmeg.

In the meantime, cook pasta in well salted water according to package directions. Drain well when cooked.

When the cream is reduced remove it from the heat. Add butter 1 tablespoon at a time and whisk it in. The cream should thicken and turn glossy. Add the cheese and hot pasta to the cream. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Serve immediately (with added parmesan cheese for me!).

I make a noodle casserole. I don't measure so sorry about I just eyeball it. I cut up my ham cook some egg noodles. I add salt, pepper a can of cream of mushroom soup (but any cream soup will work) Worcester sauce, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, add some garlic salt, and a can of mushrooms, onions ( usually saute them first), mix together in a casserole dish. cook at 350 for about 40 min until hot take out put grated cheese on top but back in the oven until the cheese melts. Turns out great every time. Good luck

Scalloped potatoes and ham, homemade mac&cheese with ham cubes, scrambled eggs with ham, onion , green pepper, mushrooms & cheese. Or you can chop your ham up real small and make ham salad sandwiches for lunch for tomorrow. A real good one would be a ham loaf with a side of squash and scalloped potatoes. Your leftover ham loaf can be sliced up for sandwiches the next day too. When you make you ham loaf make it similar to meatloaf egg, bread crumbs etc.. except add some crushed pineapple to the ground up ham some cinnamon and a dash of cloves. In the bottom of your loaf pan put remaing drained pineapple can of pineapple more cinnamon and brown sugar then put your loaf on top. To make a bigger loaf you can mix your 1 Ib ham with 1 Ib burger.

Ooooh, Ooooh, my favorite! Take the ham and mix it with cut up potatoes and a can or two of creamed soup (mushroom or even celery). Put in oven at 350 for about 1-1 1/2 hours until potatoes are done.

From my ex-mother-in law. Not the nicest lady, but I have to admit, she can COOK!

I like to add leftover ham to scalloped potatoes (homemade or box mix) and chopped asparagus, top with a little cheese of your choice and bake. Very good on a cold night!

A cheesy broccoli ham bake. Or just make a pasta alfredo and chop up the ham and toss it in. (This also works well with leftover veal.)
