My question to you: Do you hate your nose because YOU yourself don't like it or because of what others have said to you about it.
First of all, how insensitive. Plastic surgery is not the answer to everything. Lucy, I've known women who have the same issues as yourself. Feeling inadequate because of others remarks. My favorite saying to people who have issues with the way I look :
" If you don't like the way I look, you don't have to look at me "
Learn to love your body with the good and the bad. And there are things you can do to minimize the appearances of as you say ' ugly ' features. Try a new eye shadow color, something that goes with the color of your eyes that people will want to look at YOU. Try a new hair-do, something that will go along with your features and blend them all in instead of having some looking more exposed than others. It doesn't matter what you do, in the end you have to live with it and you shouldn't let other people shape you into something you might not want to be. If you feel badly about yourself, then do whatever it is YOU feel you should do, but do it for YOURSELF. Don't base your decision on others judgements because people are insensitive. Trust me.

You actually don't really have to get plastic surgery to minimize the appearance of any bumps in your nose, if the problem is minor. Look for a concealer that's just one shade lighter than your nose's skin tone and fill in the edges of the bump with it. Follow up with your normal foundation and powder. This will make the skin look a lot smoother than it actually is and hide the appearance of any bumps because the lighter concealer will blend with the natural shadows created by the bump.
If you have an aqualine nose - IE if the bump is in the bridge of your nose, there's one way to hide it without surgery - A fashionable, frameless rimless set of glasses that have a silver or gold bridge. The sides of the glasses, the glasses themselves, and the lenses will distract from the shape of your nose. If you wear glasses or contacts normally, you can try some out with a side mirror until you get the effect you want, or you can get a pair of designer glasses that don't actually have a prescription. There's also the option of wearing sunglasses, though you'll look odd if you wear them indoors.
Plastic surgery is a really drastic option, but if it's affecting your self esteem enough, you may want to consider it.

I feel i have the same problem. I am very pretty, but I have this enormous nose. My boyfriend always asks me where I got my nose. I hate it, but i am trying to embrace it. We could be worse off and not have a nose.

okay, when my mom was little, she hated her nose, got made fun of, and it had a bump on it just like you. my mom didnt have plastic surgery, she just learned to live with it. now, it looks fine! nobody cares now, and you should love your body because no one person in the world besides you will have the exact same one :D

2 options: Embrace it, or surgery. Thats really it. I'd try the 1st before the 2nd, but hey, its your life. Do what you think its best for YOU.
