The Flower Vendor is very well known but many of his paintings are very well known for many different reasons. I suppose you could say that the mural he did in New York is very well known...mostly because it was painted over. View of Tlaltelolco...Self Portraits...

Between 1932-1933, he completed a famous series of 27 fresco panels entitled Detroit Industry on the walls of an inner court at the Detroit Institute of Arts. It is considered to be the finest mural painting in the USA
