Will be going around LA and San Francisco. It rains a lot there during winter?

LA...a hooded jacket and an umbrella...SF.....a lined warm hooded jacket and rain boots.

Well right now, we wear t-shirt and jeans and tennis shoes at night.. Its not very cold in LA, we don't know what winter is.. When we see a few rain drops, we take out the scarfs and gloves and winter coats.. But San Francisco is different, its much more damp and it rains without notice. But again, not very cold just a light sweater or jacket will do.

San Francisco will be a little more chilly than LA. Usually a sweater or sweatshirt and pants would be enough. Wear layers that way if it gets warm you can just get rid of a layer... because sometimes both places start out really cold in the morning and warm up in the afternoon.

Usually you should be fine with some pants and a sweater but if it gets really cold maybe a coat. When it rains take an umbrella.

LA winter??? whats that? oh is that when its raining? L.A winter= shorts flip flops and a long sleeve
