I don't know anything about the tv people or whatever but I am a christian and have had a few experiences.

In the world, there are to sides. There is God, and unfortunatly, Satan, the devil. When Satan sees how great we are going with God, he likes to get in the way. This can be in so many ways its not funny.

What you have to do is say in the name of Jesus Christ that you belong to the Lord God, who is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that you will not allow the devil to intervene.

This can be hard, and scary. But you need to remember you are God's child and that he will help you through EVERTHING!!!

Look up Mathew 5 I think it is, and read how God gets babtised and the Holy spirit says how proud he is and how much he loves him, and then the next verse it says the holy spirit leads Jesus into the dessert to be tempted by the devil.
God puts us through things for a purpose, and he loves us and knows whats going to happen.

God bless

most of that is TV props when Jesus was praying to God in the Garden a few hours before His crucifixion He prayed so hard that blood was on His head. The angels came to minister to HIm (serve Him) and this gave Him STRENGTH not weakness the Holy spirit should invigorate not drain. I will pray for you to have a divine revelation of what type of experience you may have had..

But if you have an encounter with God NO ONE will be able to stand before Him (unless he tell you to get up) lol God Bless

I think it is the yearning, very similar to what you share with a lover, the need for Him somehow makes you exasperated. I have felt this way many times. Also sometimes you can just get caught up in the moment of great relief when you have that feeling of release when you speak your heart to Him. I Know he hears me, and it comforts me sometimes so much I have tears of joy, from nowhere. It takes away th fear and the pain that life can inflict on your soul, and that can be very intense as well.

I have had an experience of an understanding about my life, about certain things that I have gone through. When God gave me the understanding it was so overwhelming that I just sank to my knees and couldn't move for a long time.

It was a shock, like somebody told me something that was so stunning and overwhelming that I was in shock. Yet at the same time I was overwhelmed with gratitude.

The Lord used to use me to prophesy in the general assembly, sometimes to a gathering of 1500 people. I always felt wobbly-kneed after speaking forth a word. I never doubted it was the Lord speaking through me. I think it is just a fact that spiritual power is real power, and when it flows through our mortal body it drains us of our natural energy.

"On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of the finest gold around his waist. His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.

I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; the men with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless. Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground..... While he was saying this to me, I bowed with my face toward the ground and was speechless. Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me, "I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I am helpless How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe."
Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength.

if you think you have had a close encounter w/ god then being physically weak is the least of your worries.

because you are standing in the presence of the creator the one who created the Universe and everything in it and the one who created you. He is just so powerful that is why we get weak in his presence.

it's ingrained in you from watching others go through it. If you had never in your life seen how xians react like that and went to a church, you would not feel faint, I guarantee it.

I've never felt that way after talking to Odin. Maybe you just can't handle it.
