I asked God to speak to me, and I had a dream that the Holy

Spirit touched me, I felt it, and saw a white transparent light,

but it was kind of like i was watching myself in the dream and

could feel everything.

Yes, i was losing my way and felt i had wandered away from Him.
I was in a difficult time in my life. I had just had my second child, 15 months after having my first and i wasen't coping too well since my husband was working 17 hour days and i had no help or support.
I wanted to be beside Him again and i kept praying for help, guidance and a sign that He still loves and accepts me because i wasen't feeling it anymore.
One night i had a dream. I could see this bright white light that held a figure in the middle that i couldn't make anything out off. Jesus was walking right beside it and i was in a white/blue area watching them talk. I felt nervous and as they got closer i heard them talking about my selvation. I was getting scared. Am i saved, does He still love me i kept asking myself and they finally get beside me and Jesus looks at me and smiles kindly and the two keep walking. I was asked to follow and as i did it became clear to me that all was okay and i had just wandered away from Him and He was bringing me closer and closer. I felt more at ease when i woke up and less stressed. I was able to think more clearly and be the best mother for my girls. a year later i was pregnant again and almost ready to deliver. I had the same growing fears of how i would cope by myself with my husband working long hours and i asked God for help, i was scared and i needed Him more than ever and in this dream He sat infront of me and although i couldn't see Hi well thorugh the light or see his mouth move, i heard Him speak. I remember not the words He spoke but lets just say i was a changed person after that for the best! Some days i still feel alone but it doesn't take long for me to feel that love again such as the other night. I was laying in bed, so cold and i felt a warm breeze stationed on my right arm. I instantly fell asleep and felt Him touch me. I no longer felt scared or alone or sad. I tell my husband about these dreams and he smiles so big because it's taken me a long time to get to this stage in my faith/religion.

Sounds like a typical dream.

Why is it that if someone dreams about falling off a bridge that this is just a realization of their subconscious fears about falling and/or bridges.

But if you dream about God or Jesus then it is a true vision and absolute message from God.

If you claim that the dream about God is a true vision, then why is it that the dream about falling off a bridge is not a message from God that you need to jump in the river?

If you claim that the dream about the bridge is just your ID working though your worries and issues while the ego is absent, then why is the dream about God not the same thing? Especially if you are asking God to speak to you.

Why is it that an omnipotent being has to turn up in dreams? Why not turn up in the back of your car one morning? Or a burning bush, etc.? Could it be that God is not as omnipotent as he used to be?

In line with islamic teaching God can speak to us via a dream or through inspiration.God can speak to the prophet through divine revelation such as like sound, via a dream or through Gabriel angel who became like a human. But in the Qur'an God spoke that a dream can be misled by satan.Yosef prophet the son of Jacoob could well interpret the meaning of dreams. So Yosef became a prime minister in Egypt. after he interpreted the meaning of the king's dream.Dream often called as the flower of a sleep..I forget my last dream.
