A good strong diet with fruits and veggies and exercise. Since I don't know your age it impossible to give you good advise. At younger ages you will not gain large muscle because you body is not ready. A good healthy supplement would be

But do not load up on high protein food and supplements it only serves to tax you liver and cause other health problems. Muscle are primarily WATER. You get excessive amounts of protein from spinach and your liver and system can handle that without problems. You cannot over dose on natural food as you can with added synthetic, artificial supplements.
And exercise those muscles. There are different types of muscles and their are used in different ways. And it is important to exercise the muscles in a way that would benefit their later use. If you exercise as a long distance runner and then expect to lift weights it just doesn't work. If you want to life weight, training as a marathon swimmer won't help you.

Muscle is pure protein.
You've got to eat 15 pounds of protein.

lift weight every other day for about 3 months, also drink protein drinks and hit some cardio. cut down your sugar cuz that eats away your muscles.
