No, they don't, if you use Biblical explanation. If you don't, they can believe whatever they want, and that's exactly what Joseph Smith chose to do - create his own, entirely different, religion, apart from Christianity.
In fact, Smith said that "ALL Christian faiths are an abomination to God." So why do Mormons call themselves Christian?! Why would they even want to align themselves with people whom their first "prophet" called an abomination?
The bottom line, dear one, is that Mormonism is considered a major cult by theologians who know God's Word. They believe Christ was the created brother of Lucifer, rather than part of the Triune God.
God bless!

Contrary to what many think, and erroneously I might add, I am Mormon and I totally believe in the Biblical Jesus. I find nothing different about the Biblical Jesus and the one taught by Mormon doctrine. In fact, (and this may sound arrogant so sorry) in my personal searching and study, I found that the Mormon description of Jesus seems MOST consistent with the Biblical Jesus.
My humble 2 cents.

We believe in the same Jesus you are talking about...the "biblical" Jesus. There's only one Christ.
We believe different THINGS about him than other Christians, but that doesn't mean we believe in a separate Christ. There's a huge difference. Heck, we accept the Holy Bible as a form of scriputure. Why would we accept it as scripture if we didn't believe in the "Biblical Jesus"? It would make no sense.

relies upon on how that Christian believes of Christ... like people who believe that Jesus Christ and God the daddy are the comparable individual - then NO, we don't think interior the "classic Jesus" because of the fact all of us be responsive to that Jesus Christ has his very own physique and that he's the Son of God, not God the daddy... I even have had Christians clarify their view of the Godhead as an egg...having 3 factors being one. nicely, we don't think they have one physique, yet 2 bodies-God and Jesus, one spirit-the Holy Ghost, and all united in one purpose. So rather, no, we don't think interior the "classic" Jesus... i does not say he's a diverse Jesus, he remains the Savior or Mankind, the fee of Peace, King of Kings and Lord of Lords... we basically be responsive to he's not the comparable actual style as God the daddy. i could say the comparable of Christians however, that they suspect in a diverse Jesus...

Jesus is the Christ. He is taught as such in the Holy Bible as well as in The Book of Mormon. His divinity is confirmed by modern revelation in The Doctrine and Covenants and in The Pearl of Great Price. There is only one Jesus the Christ. He is the same in times past as well as in the present. Jesus, as we know Him to be, is alive and well and leading and guiding The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Besides that, He leads and guides the lives of all who faithfully seek after Him.
If others interpret His divinity in some way other than manifest by Him to His prophets, that doesn't change His reality.
So to answer your question, No, the "Mormon" Jesus is no different than the Biblical one. He is the Biblical Jesus as we understand Him to be.

Mormons believe in the same Jesus as the rest of the other Christian religions!
It is interesting that a group of people think that they can tell me what I believe when they have no clue as what they are talking about. I really wish that when people are totally ignorant that they just keep their mouth shut!

We believe that Jesus is the Christ and the Savior of the world. We believe in the only true God and in His Son. And we understand Him and His nature better than most.

Everyone beware this asker. She takes answers she doesn't like, twists them around, and then asks redundant questions with them. She's a troll, and a pitiful excuse for an apologist.
Here's a question she asked earlier that I answered:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhFtleAft3Mpivkxpm0bCKPsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071105190423AA5j6mE
Then here is a later question she posted with no reference to the original question, but simply quoted me out of context (I'm assuming to make herself look good).

Probably best that we just ignore her completely.
Good Day!

There's only one Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ.
There are just more than one way of seeing Him.
Just because one might see Him differently than someone else, that does not make one person igt and te other wrong.
