im asking for a new digital camera for xmass cuz the 2 i had both were broken (screens cracked and pixilated cuz someone pressed their thumb against 1 and shatter the internal part of the screen and the second one got dropped on the floor) i want something thats small and preferable slim so i can put it in my purse or pocket but also with a tough screen so this doesnt happen again. im very careful now with who i let use my cameras!! money isnt really an option cuz my parents said pick 5 high end items so this will be one of the items.

Well I'm sorry that someone broke your camera. Next time you put your camera out of anyone's reach (locked inside a cabinet just like mine, or always bring them with you) and don't lend them to anyone unless you trust them with your life. And even then, you must teach them to use the camera strap - they are very handy to prevent the camera from being dropped.

As for a new camera, I think you're going to like the Canon Powershot SD1000 which is pretty stylish and very small. If you still want a better camera (though I can't imagine anyone except enthusiast and advanced user want anything more than the SD1000), you can get the Canon Powershot G9 which is their top of the line pocket camera for the moment. They are a little bit bigger than the SD1000 though and can be tricky because it was designed for advanced user but I think the G9 is a fabulous little camera and I think you won't regret with both of the camera I mentioned above. Not that I'm saying the other camera I didn't mention is bad, but the two are among the best for its class.

i admire My Kodak Z1285. it somewhat is small with a quite sturdy length liquid crystal show show and has a thousands and thousands settings. you are able to crop %., eliminate crimson-eye, substitute coloration settings, and so on.. all on the digital camera itself. I have been given mine for $a hundred and fifty on sale, yet i think of it commonly retails for approximately $199. workplace Depot has been working a clean sale on them for $one hundred sixty. you're able to look there and see what sort of bargains you may get. :) it somewhat is super because of the fact then you definately can purchase the easyshare g610 printer dock and print off rather sturdy high quality photos everytime you elect. The Kodak Easyshare Z1285 has 12.a million megapixels and 5x zoom. it is likewise severe Definition and takes video clips to boot. The Canon PowerShot SD750 in basic terms has 7.a million megapixels(not as quite of a image) and in basic terms 3x zoom. not as sturdy a digital camera for greater suitable than or the comparable quantity because of the fact the kodak?

Check out the Canon G9. You can read a review at dpreviews.com.

Invest in a good neck strap and keep your camera hanging around your neck unless its in a case or on a tripod.

I don't think there is any. Drop any at the wrong angle, and you'll be buying another one. You just have to learn to be more careful, cameras are delicate.
