It would seem that a trade school should have courses in heating and air conditioning. Learn the basics there and the school may also have a placement service. Once you have training and experience , does your "gift of gab" and people contact prepare you for a sales rep position?

here are some companies that need sales reps. Trane, carrier, york. Most manufacturers use different sales rep companies nationwide. Look for these companies (mcquay, indeeco, dristeem, cook, greenheck, envirotech, aaon) then search for who reps them in your area. then apply to those companies. you will most likely be inside sales first then become outside sales (average outside sales: $120-150K/yr)
