Nothing. Any warming is caused by the Sun.

"Furthermore, scientists and academics have recently been queuing up to point out that fluctuations in global temperatures correlate more consistently with patterns of radiation from the sun than with any rise in CO2 levels, and that after a century of high solar activity, the sun's effect is now weakening, presaging a likely drop in temperatures."

Firstly, take no notice of the cynics such as Dr Jello. Your concern for the future is wise and commendable. Set an example in your daily life and others will follow so that the global nature of the problems will be solved by a global response.
Secondly, recognise that global warming, pollution and resource depletion (of materials like oil and gas) are all related.
Thirdly, reduce, re-use and recycle. This means stop buying stuff you don't need and economise on things like heating and car use. Re-use things like carrier bags and second hand goods. Re-cycle what can not be re-used such as paper that has already been printed on both sides.
Just by thinking about these things and showing your concern for future generations you will be on the right track.

Global warming is just that: global. And it's going to take a global effort to slow its impact. But when people bind together, amazing things happen.

Remember when California was having those blackouts? You didn't hear about them the next year, right? That's not because California built a bunch of new infrastructure, it's because the state REDUCED its power consumption by 11% year over year.

Legislation will help, but a willingness to make small changes in your life will also help. Install flourescent lights, walk, bike or take public transit when you can, eat a little less meat and local food, and you'll be surprised at the difference you can make as an individual.

You can't. End of story. Not that you need to, because it is NOT all it's cracked up to be, with the raging storms, and record-setting temperatures.
You need to watch "The Great Global Warming Swindle," available on YouTube and Google Video, if you really want to know the truth.

litter. raise your carbon use by 7000%. (carbon emissions are good. remember that.) use gasoline in non gas efficient vehicles like semis or black exhaust from the pipes. light massive bonfires with kerosine and plastic and tires and used motor oil (make a word out of the bonfires saying "blah"). make some napalm. use lots and lots of electricity and water. hunt. kill some animals legally. chop trees down (timber). when you go to bed, park your car and leave the car running with the gas all the way down (make sure you lock the doors and have another key to get in the car). use all the resources extravagantly. smoke alot of stuff too. breathe (in and out, in and out). do not recycle. when you have a chance, burn all your garbage instead of throwing it away. burn the used motor oil. burn tires. dump the used motor oil in ponds and then burn it. light yourself on fire. go fishing. pollute your pond in the back yard.
