The God of the Bible, no. Some of the things required in the Bible are to prove all beliefs and keep what is fine/true. 1 Thess. 5:21, Acts 17:11, John 4:23, 24, 1 John 4:1

To present yourself to God with your power of reason intact. Romans 12:1, 2. The Bible uses the terms reason and discernment, thinking ability, etc. many times referring to necessary mental traits God wants us to have.

Define "act stupid." What constitutes "stupid" in your book? And what do you mean by "expect?" Do you mean that in the sense that he anticipates how we will act, or rather that he WANTS us to act stupid? That's a pretty vague question. In the sense, however, that people do act stupid and God is supposed to know all and see all... then I would have to conclude that he expects us to act stupid in the former sense of the word "expect," but probably not in the latter sense. Again, however, it depends greatly on what YOU mean by "stupid."

If we are a reflection of our beliefs in God then it is expected for us to display the same attributes and being stupid is not one of them

It's not acting stupid it's being human

No. God does not expect. He invites. He invites us to discover wisdom and compassion. If that is not your choice then you are free to go on being whatever you are.

Not "act" stupid... BE stupid. (assuming we're talking about the Christian god)

well.. IF God really existed, then humans would have been created in his own image.. So if humans are stupid, then God is stupid..

I'm guessing your asking this in response to an answer on that really stupid driving question, am I right?

no, he doesn't.

No. But He does expect us to progress from our current threshold of logic.

If he values "blind faith" over informed and educated thought, I'd say he expects us to BE stupid!
Ignorance is bliss!
