scientists have developed things like UV sterilizers and such...i think.
i want a method that I can research for my essay project. it has to be a relatively new concept...not like something discovered in the 1980s...and INTERESTING!
anyone know what i could research?

uh ...beyond 'washing hands' please
remember i have to write a 800 word essay on this and i dont think washing hands is anything new. and i cant DESIGN anything. its a written essay.

Why not design pocket liners for kids who may not wash their hands enough -- every time they stick their hands in their pockets, the liners disinfect them!

I don't know if this is a new technology, but hospitals are experimenting with copper to fight MRSA outbreaks. They put copper into beds and other hospital surfaces, apparently copper has antibacterial properties.

Prevention, write about prevention. Good handwashing etc..that should stop the spread of the bacteria.
