It sounds as though you have a migraine. Are you sensitive to light or sound? Is the headache on one side only? If the answers to both those questions is "yes," then you almost certainly have a migraine headache. They can cause a good deal of nausea as well, sometimes severe enough to cause vomiting. If the headache is on both sides, it's more likely that you have a sinus headache.
Most people who suffer from migraines require a prescription medication like Imitrex to help deal with the headache, particularly if it is severe. If you have a sinus headache, then you can probably take a dose of something such as Tylenol Sinus (or a generic that has pseudoephedrine HCL in it) to reduce the pain.
If you have a migraine, staying away from light and noise, and going into a cool, dark room can be helpful. Some people respond to caffeine as well. For sinus headaches, you're more likely to respond to warmth, such as a heating pad and hot drinks; it's unlikely that a cool room would feel good at all.
If the pain is very severe, then it's definitely time to make an appointment with your doctor to find out what's going on. There's really no reason you have to suffer with either type.
Good luck!

The cramping is not a good sign. The dr. should have been a little more concerned with that especially at 32 weeks. I'd get a second opinion there. The headache, sharp pain shooting into your leg, and the spots are all pretty common pregnancy symptoms. The headache lasting for so long has got to be putting a damper on your days so the dr. should give you something for it. The sharp pain into your leg is probably just the baby positioned near your sciatic nerve, I had that with all three of my pregnancies. And the spots could be due to high blood pressure, or swelling, which I've also had all three pregnancies and was fine and normal. I would definately call back or ask another dr. about the headache lasting for so long and the cramping. Do you have a heartbeat monitor at home? You could check for the heartbeat if you do, and do your movement counts as well. Ten movements in a two hour period. Anything less than that you're supposed to report to the dr. also. Could be all false alarms and nothing wrong, but better to make sure. Best of luck

Do you have any other symptoms? If not you could have what they call an ice pick headache. I used to get them myself when I was really stressed out. They are harmless. Visit this website to read more about

you could have a migraine, or you could have a sinus cold. i know that when i get sinus colds i usually get a pain in one area. that usually means that this pain spot is where the cold is starting. just takes some sinus meds, or you could even take some excederin. it will take some time, but the pain will go away.

I wouldn't be too alarmed until it begins to effect your daily living. i.e. vomitting, sensitivity to light, continual headache, etc. As far as a headache for a couple of hours, don't panic.

Nothing to be alarmed about or worried about. Take some ibuprophen and take a hot shower or bath. Lay in a cool dark room and relax. Maybe even take a nap and you should be better. If it persists, you could see a doctor.
