Assuming that you are old enough to receive this information and you will not misuse this information,
Basically, sex is done by stimulating your partner's genital. Either by caressing it alone, or you caress each other. The final move of sex is by inserting the penis into the vagina. Both will receive great pleasure every time the penis is moving inside the vagina.
I put it simply, the ultimate purpose of doing sex is for physical pleasure. I can say that sex is the greatest physical pleasure in this world.
-Sex replenishes love between couples [that's why it's called making love]
-Sex is healthy, [only a few percentages have this reason], even doctors and experts recommend couples to have sex at least 3 times a week.

If you are asking this question, I'd figure you are a kid and at that age. I don't really think there is anything wrong with your question.
So I will just say sex is a part of life. All animals, including humans, have sex to have babies. Humans are different in a sense that we sometimes do it as an expression of love or for pleasure.
