Easily we can say that life begin wth birth & end with the death. If you want a very deep answer then it would be different.
Just before we were born we were in the stomach of our mother as a fetus. Before that we were as an egg insidse the mother & sperm inside our father. Just go back, we were just the energy of our father & mother. The same process would be the same with your mother & father.
So now keep going back, this will end in the first person on the earth. If one is a christian he believes that to be Adam & Eve, created by God, that is finished with them.
Ask the question how did the man come the evolution theory will say from the 5 sensed animals & befor that 4 sensed living species, 3,2, & one sensed ameoba.
Hindus believe the evolution theory, which is said as in the 10 Avathars of Lord Krishna & that the life started in the water.
How did the amoeba come into existence? & it is the mixing up of the pancha boothas[akash, air, fire, water& earth]How did the 5poothas come?
Earth came from the liquid, not exactly the water[molten mass] & liquid from the fire & fire in turn from the air & air formed from the akash which is the fundamental energy particle, Which is the buildin blocks of the universe.
How the energy particle came is the big question to the science. The enlightened peple say that it came from space or Soonya, Awareness,Paramatma, Brahma,Cosmic Conscious,Father in Heaven, Allah.
So the life begins when the space transforms into the fundamental enrgy particle.
Life ends when the energt particle which is as a soul in our body unites with the space after all the imprinted karmas are cleared by our spiritual practices & good deeds. These help the soul to Liberation. My guru says the life to be thetravel of the conscious & it realizes itself only when taking the human body. That is the greatness of the human being.Hope i am clear to the ones who read this answer.Or i have i confused?

Dear Anil, I have been seeing ur questions quite often & find them good but the ascent is, u want everything cut-dried-tied.

Spirituality does not explain everything just like science where repeatable experiments bring repeated results. Here u have to start with faith & progress further. There are enough land-marks/check lists to ensure whether u r on right track or not, so, please be in no doubt. Believe in theory of continuity of karma and continuity of birth.

Now, to answer u, let us assume it does. But that does not answer-where it begins and where it ends? The span betwwen birth & death is defined as 'life' by us, actually it is only a repeatation of a cycle. u do good karma, u rise. If u do bad karma u fall but still remain in cycle.
Dhrutrashtra must have done a serious mistake so he is punished for death of his 100 sons. But then he needs 'punya' enough to have 100 sons first. This may require several births.
So many new born kids die every day-why? They have done no karma at all & still they die (end of life, if we say so)
Many sinful people live very long(continuation of life, if we say so)
A neem tree(bearing bitter leaves & fruits) grows much higher than a rose plant(bearing sweet flowers)-how can u call it correct?
To conclude, destiny or whatever we call it, does require continuation of life. So birth & death are not end points, they are just switching points in a never ending cycle!
I like to talk to u, if need be u can write e mail directly also.
I once again recomend u a short course in spirituality by Brahmakumaris.

The life begin from earth and end on earth Dear
The true life begins or take birth Only when you enjoy in the circumstances created by god[nature] & it is dead when you loose the opportunity to enjoy it .
Only taking birth & death is not life.

You are asking for a timeline, correct? Most people think life begins with birth and ends at death. Others believe in reincarnation. My belief is that life begins at conception and ends when the soul departs the body (usually at the time of death). I don't force my beliefs on others, they can take what I say at face value and simply know that is my belief. If they believe differently, so be it. Have great day & God bless.

No life is without a beginning or an end. What we know of our own life is nothing but a physical manifestation of our souls that go on in an endless cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth. The liberation of the soul from the physical exile is the aim of human birth but seldom people realize this true purpose of human birth and their souls remain entrapped through good or bad deeds in this endless cycle. This entrapment in this endless cycle can only be ended through knowledge of the divine truth.

Your life began when God thought of you even before the foundation of the world... then u were ferafully and wonderfully made.... when u were ready God brought you into the world to let you prepare yourself for the next realm... the eternal life.....so can i say 4 phases:
Planning phase of life
Forming phase of life
Preperation phase or earthly life
Eternal phase...

so life does not end withdeath or begin with birth,... God's book has details of how you were formed... so that's also a part of your life...

its like the actual goal is to work(to be in heaven with the Lord).. you go thru levels of schooling and college...

Life as 'we know it' begins with birth and ends in death, however with God, the giver of all forms of life; The life of our soul begins even before we are concieved in our mother's womb. Our physical life begins at conception and takes a break when we die, until the ressurrection. And our spiritual life begins when we acknowledge our need for God in our lives. and are born of His Spirit. This spiritual life has no end.
