I heard the DEA was limiting the number of Oxycontin bottles to 5 per day per pharmacy.

No, the DEA can't do that. Oxycontin is not a widely dispensed drug in general. The DEA looks for great changes in ordering patterns. If a store always goes through a certain number in a week, it's not an issue. The DEA does recommend pharmacies do not keep excess controlled 2s for security and safety reasons.

I doubt it. Oxycontin is probably the most abused prescription drug out there, but the DEA isn't going to limit it, the drug maker won't stand for that.
