I heard somewhere that you need a parent with you if you want to get out of the country and you're under 18. Me and my friends live in NY and we want to see Iron Maiden in Canada (there's one in NJ but this just seems cooler). One of my friends is 18 and me and my other friend are both 17, we all have passports and all that but what else do we need and do we need a parent.

If you are traveling with an 18 year old, you are traveling with an adult. You should bring a permission slip from you parents stating that you are traveling with the 18 year old, and the town you are going to, how long you are going for, and includes your parent's contact information.

No, you don't need to be with a parent, however a note from a parent will go a long way to proving your story when you get to the border because it sounds pretty far fetched the way you have it written above. Also be sure to have proof that you actually have tickets to this concert and that you have enough money to support yourself while you are in this country.

No, if you are under 18 you just need a special permission from your parents.

If your handle is representative of your thinking, I say that you should stay home. We don't want your racist attitude here in Canada. Whitey is a racist term and I'm offended by it (not to mention the killing part) as much as you would be if I called you 'n****r'. Grow up or stay home.
