i disagree, in another way.
you see, people don't hate muslims. there are many causes why do muslims think they're being hated:
1. people don't hate, people make fun, people kid, people joke. muslims represents terrorists, not bcoz of the religion itself, but bcoz most of the terrorists are muslims.
2. most of the known terrorists are muslims.
3. muslims grow beard
4. some just like to hate muslims, not all

Excuse me, but what happened in 9/11 WAS horrible.
But the American government should've seen it coming since Bin Laden has been threatening the U.S. since ca. 1998...
To answer your question as to why people hate "all" Muslims... it's because some people don't understand (or don't know) that there are 2 different views (I am not 100% sure myself)

I agree with you completely. The problem arises because the extremists do these things IN THE NAME of their religion. You can't really blame a culture on the other side of the world who really only sees the bad of Islam for thinking that Islam is bad. Is that our fault or Islam's fault? Probably neither. It's just the sad facts of it. It all boils down to ignorance and fear (yet again).

Basically because the Muslim leadership didn't condemn the the action and that the group that planned 9/11 is a Islamic group. This group was also not condemned, nor was any offer of help made to track them down.

I don't hate muslims. I just hate what most of them do. If they wanted to blow each other up, why can't they do it in a field where there are no people around. That way no one gets hurt but the person who is committing suicide. Why are people trying to may history. That is one sad way to make history. It's very selfish too. Oh.. and why do they have to blow children up??. That is so sad.

I think you said something you did not mean to....
Many people got killed, it was clearly horrible
...but I agree that to hate an entire religion, based on the action of that day alone is wrong...

The problem is that many radical fundamentalist Christians are blaming all of Islam for that event. They don't understand that it was radical fundamentalist Islam that was the problem.
The problem isn't Christianity or Islam, it's radical fundamentalism.

If you are saying that you cannot find anything horrible about that day, then you have just identified yourself to the world as both a sociopath, as well as a terrorist sympathizer.
