Aveeno is good or you might try Gold Bond Medicated powder.

You really should not shave so close. An ingrown hair growing back could cause a big boil that looks like warts. I know someone that it happened to and they almost died thinking they had warts. They went to the emergency room and got a big thousands of dollars bill getting it taken care of. If you want to shave use some clippers and don't try to get the hair completely off. The hair that is growing back in one day from shaving with a razor is going to itch because it is sharp. You can use A&D ointment to help the irritation. A little hair is fine down there. You don't have to let it grow to your knees

witch hazel. Soak some cotton wool in it and dab away. It's for sensitive skin so you can use it all over. You can get it from most supermarkets, usually comes in a glass bottle with the camomile lotion etc. I've been using it for 4 years - I shaved for a while prior to that, but suffered with the same problems as you. It works brilliantly. Use it after shaving - straight after as well as two days later.

Buy a travel size of Secret deodorant. After you shave, wait until area is dry then apply the deodorant. It works and I have some friends that are dancers and swear by this.

if ur a guy idk y ur shaving ur self unless ur in some late night movies, but u can use nair. next time u wanna shave, use nair its a hair remover for girls on there legs, but if u do it on ur u-no-wut, it should stop it from growing back longer than just shaving w/ a razor. this works cuz it pulls up the root of ur hair w/o any pain and then u shave it off w/ no problem
hope it works out for ya

theres stuff called coochie cream that is sold through sex toy catalogues. my best friend is an athenas goddess (she hosts adult toy parties) and thats one the biggest seller..so many girls swear by it (myself included) it keeps ingrowns away and soothes the area..and its NOT a sex toy!! its like body butter but for down there...alot of exotic dancers and porn stars use it cuz thats not helping their job if they have red bumps all over that...it has a funny name but the stuff is awesome!!
