Unfortunately the state I live in they are still coming in by the droves. Our state like many other states still welcomes them in with the red carpet. Our state legislatures have passed laws giving illegals blank checks all in the name of greed and political advantage. Both parties want the illegals vote they are willing to sell you out at any cost. All the illegals have to do is show up and collect the benefits. Meanwhile, we legals end up paying for it. I will be so glad when these traitors are voted out of office and replaced with ones who want the immigration laws enforced. Our law enforcement act like they are afraid of illegals. They would rather not stop a car if they think it may contain illegals. We no longer have road blocks because law enforcement officials don't want to deal with illegals. Illegals walk right under the noses of law enforcement with NO fear of being caught. It is an illegals Paradise.
It is going to take the public at large to say in mass voting that this country needs and deserves immigration enforcement. Don't expect your politician to do it out of respect for you or the laws of this land. It is only when good ethical politicians are elected that this issue will be addressed. Just open your eyes and see the hypocrisy going on in the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of our government. As long as Mr. Bush is on the throne, it will be more of the same abuse we've gotten the last 7 long years.

Yes, I live in Oklahoma and it is working. Do an on line search for Oklahoma House Bill 1804 and forward it to your Congressmen/women and ask them to create a similar bill.

I live in Oklahoma. They are not leaving in droves. They are filing numerous lawsuits, demanding their "rights." Oklahomans, both Democrat and Republican, are straight forward people, and don't buy into this two wrongs making a right approach to illegal immigration. The fact that unethical employers are willing to hire them for slave wages does not make their illegal takeover of our country right. We do need the federal government, because they can keep on with the "pathway to citizenship" amnesty legislation, and overrule state laws which have been passed to stop this illegal activity. The citizens of all states in our country must vote out all federal senators and representatives, whether Democrat or Republican, who say they are for "a pathway to citizenship" for illegals. We all need to write letters to our congressmen, telling them of our disapproval for their lack of respect for ethics, rule of law, and our country's borders. The criminal illegals and those on our tax dole will leave, because they are why this law was passed. I do not believe their lawsuits will help them, because we took two years to craft a law that would be in compliance with all other laws.
To proudnbrown: I suggest you learn what "racist" means. The definition of "racist" is not a person who wants our laws enforced. All races in our country who came here legally are welcome. This issue is not about race. It is about lawlessness.

It's about time someone did something. The Feds refuse to do their job, they could stop this invasion any time they wanted, simply by enforcing the laws we already have. If they won't do it then it's time that the states, and the citizens take matters into their own hands.

I would like to see it happen.
To Darkwolf: Dont be so sure it wont happen in Illinois. There have been 3 raids in my city in the last 6 months. I think more people are becoming aware of the problem here.

Some of it. Making gestures of kindness illegal is disturbing but hiring illegal immigrants at your business should be something you have to pay for with prison time instead of just a fine.
I just hope they are not going after volunteers at homeless shelters and churches for providing for the basic needs of people who walk into their charitable institutions.
