Hi hon...
I'm really sorry to hear you are stuck in a situation, and can't figure a way out.
If your brother is in jail, it's not your fault... and there isn't much you can do from where you are. He will have to pay the consequences for his actions, unfortunately.
Perhaps you can contact your local human services (welfare) department and ask for resources for help in your community. Let them know about your mom, your financial situation and that you'd like to know if you are eligible for assistance of any kinds, or if they can give you some resources for assistance?
Local churches might have a food pantry day, you can call around, or look in the paper for ads. These food pantries offer free foods to the needy, and you can just go there, no questions asked.
You can also contact the Salvation Army.
Hon, I would also advise you to talk with an adult you trust and respect.. do you have a neighbor or relative you know who will listen and perhaps have advice? Think about this, too... and talk with your school counselor or principal. Your school really needs to know about your situation, and perhaps you can ask the counselor for resources for help and advice, too?
sending hugs.

Call 411 and ask them for the number for the juvenile detention center in Richmond. They should be able to give you basic info. If no luck there, call the sheriff's department of the Richmond police force and tell them your situation, and they can help or at least point you in the right direction.

Contact the State police and tell them your problem they may be able to help another place who can help is the red cross they helped my mom when my sister ran away to another state and got arrested for vagrancy and couldn't get back home. Please try those places. Good luck.
