good luck with that. You would have a better chance at sacrificing the non-belivers. The streets would run red with their godless blood. The Irony, "a crusade to end religion".

No. That would miss the point entirely.

I've been saying this for a long time -- an Evangelical Fundamentalist Atheist is still an Evangelical Fundamentalist.

What we should do is to learn to get along, to accept our differences, and to stop trying to convert each other by force.

It's not religion that's the problem, it's the insistence that your way is the only way. Atheists can be like that too. Eliminating religion does not eliminate the problem -- it is a human problem.

Interesting.. however. it would never happen... religion is world wide and the crusade trying to end it would be look at like it was a strange religious cult... and no i wouldn't support it. Good luck!

Good luck. Many countries, like Iraq, Brazil, Serbia, Russia, Mexico, and Ireland, have religion as a core part of their country. Trying to end religion may yield violent results.

It's already, finally, underway. After 7 years of the US being run in to the ground by Pope Dubya I, more and more people are waking up to the very real danger that religion poses to society.

There will always be wackos out there, so I doubt religion will ever truly die out, but we can at least minimize the effects of this horrible meme, and quit letting people who pander to the lunatic fringe run the world...

That would make us as bad as they are. No thanks.

Besides, one doesn't need a crusade to destroy religion. One only needs to educate people. Education eradicates religion. Lack of education allows it to thrive.

All we atheists need to do is make people aware of the facts that disprove their religion. Eventually, they'll all smack their foreheads in a perfect could'a had a V8 style, and apologize for allowing themselves to be duped.

No, that would be bad, think of all the people who have religion, the hole planet will be in chaos. I don't have a religion and I think it's stupid some times, but I still think people need it.

No I don't believe in aping religions and I don't think there will ever be an end to religion. I prefer to confine myself to campaigning against what is objectionable about religion and engaging with believers to try to persuade them that some of their beliefs and practices do more harm than good.

Futile. Of course I wouldn't support it. That's moronic.

To end religion, yes! Religion is man-made rules.
To end spirituality, No.
