It's mostly likely OCD (over compulsive disorder
). It has to be perfect, and your brain can't trust itself, that it did whatever the job was right. Does this problem occur in other places other than that? You also second guess yourself, so you doubt your answer is right, but most of the time the first answer is the right answer.

There are several mental disorders that would result in this. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is only one. You are obsessive. There are meds that can help you, and therapy can help. You need a professional psychiatrist to diagnose you, though. Otherwise, you'll treat for the wrong illness or disorder. Go to a doctor and ask for a referral, or go to a free mental health clinic and get a diagnosis. People on the Internet can only guess and you need some real support from a trained professional, okay?

Sounds like you have some traits of obsessive compulsive disorder or obsessive compulsive personality disorder (they are two different things).

If it is a serious problem for you, if it keeps you from your work and normal daily activities, see a doctor.

I have some traits like that, but I'm diagnosed with depression and I have never had a formal diagnosis of OCD or the personality disorder. However, whenever I take an online personality disorder test, I almost always have some mention of obsessive compulsive personality disorder in the results.

You might have obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) though you didn't give enough information for me to determine that. However, it is possible that you are just too hard on yourself. Either way, you should try and find a therapist to help you with this problem.

Good luck to you
