No...
This is nothing more than the end of a cycle (calendar round) on the Mayan calendar. Most people believe that this is the last day according to the Mayans... and since they had a huge understanding of time and motion of the planets and an incredibly accurate calendar... a lot of people believe that they knew the end date.
The truth is the calendar repeats itself and this is nothing more than the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next. It has a "Long Count" of 395 years and 2012 is the end of the current Long Count at that time, the next Long Count begins. It's highly unlikely that the world ends about every 400 years.

I used to chortle on the 2000 end of international prediction. This time i don't experience precisely the comparable way. I surely have feeling that throughout the subsequent 10 years something treamendous is going to ensue.may be a unique to end of international and a few in ordinary terms survives. If something like that happens i would be immensly indignant at god. there replace into no extra suitable time like this till now. while each little thing will become extra suitable god in simple terms destroys? The destruction may be synthetic and partial. yet i think of if a million/2 the inhabitants in simple terms perishes this international might have some respiration area and privateness. shall we save all our achievements discoveries too.

Only God Knows and many false teachers and congregations have given dates. Acts 1:6-7, Colossians 2:16-22. You can only Know the Times you are living and what to Watch for Matthew 24.

I suppose it could end Dec 21, 2012 it's just as likely as any other day. (although I think the "seers" are advertising the 23 when the Mayan Calendar ends) HOWEVER it is not any more likely then any other day so I doubt it.
Beside Bush will be out of then so the chance of the world being blown up should fall dramaticly.

People thought the world was going to end on Jan 1, 2000 also. But here we are, almost 8 years later... world's still going strong. You're right- God will come on His time, and we will know neither the date nor the time. God bless.

Man, I am telling you if I had a Dime for each time I see this 2012 question in here about the world ending, I could retire very wealthy.
Ok let me post this yet but again.
Mat 24:36 ¶ But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Now....Is there any part of that, that was not understood ?

No one knows when the world will end. The date and year is ridiculus thing and no one should be scared of it. God doesn't want us to live in fear for some thing we have no idea when it will happen.

The Bible says no one knows when exactly. Just that there would be signs of Jesus second coming.
