Go somewhere quiet and pray.
Prayer changes things.
AND...when you pray...believe that God has the ability to do something about your out-of-control nerves...and He will.
God bless you!

Study intensively. Make sure that you have done all the readings and make notes from the readings to fix it in your head. Review all your lecture notes thoroughly, and try doing mock exam questions with a friend from class.

Stay away from sugar and caffeine and get a good night's sleep for two days before hand.

Don't try to cram in the last minutes before the exam. Try meditating instead.

And have a routine for when you write the exam. Do what you normally do in the morning, instead of rushing off to the exam late without a shower or breakfast. Lay out your pens. Organise your approach to the exam:
1) look through the entire exam so you know what is expected
2) decide how much time to spend on each section or question
3) Answer what you know well first so that you feel confident and your brain has a chance to get in gear

Most of all, if you are well prepared you will have confidence in yourself and you will have no reason to be nervous. Depend on yourself, not on good luck charms, prayer or other superstitions. Good luck!

Try meditation. Lie down on your back and focus all your thoughts on your breathing, heartbeat and if you can, all your internal organs. You'll sleep like an angel. Repeat in the morning for 10 min. and then go to your test thinking that failure happens only when you stop trying.

I have a practical test this Saturday, also.
You can go buy a calcium/magnesium supplement. This helps naturally relax you without making you sleepy.
Another thing to do is to study, so you go into the test knowing you are prepared.

Get plenty of sleep the night before, and lay off the caffeine for a day or so previously. Make sure you've studied a lot, and you should do fine.
