Got any ideas that yahoo can do to make their stock soar? What would you do if you owned Yahoo? Think of new ideas that Google hasn't.

Yahoo already asks for MONEY for the personals, for the In webphone and the webphone to landlines and cell phones. They charge for more gigs, they don't even give freebies except for messenger. They charge for radio, and even to have your damn mail funneled to your outlook express on your hard drive.

I WOULD SAY THEIR STOCK SUCKS BECAUSE OF KARMA.

I think perhaps they thought they would get ahead by CHARGING for everything, but look at them and look at Google. If that strategy worked, they would be ahead of the game, and they aren't!!!

It is irritating to be constantly charged for everything, its like nitpicking, and where has it got them anyway.

What would you do to change it all around? Any company can revive.. its been done enough.

This allows for people who are semi-capable in computers and internet things to build their own online tools, then make them available to others.

I would increase the input to include more regular URLs instead of focusing on RSS and XML. Maybe an input module to use Yahoo Answers, Yahoo Groups, Yahoo Chat

I own Google through a mutual fund so take this for what its worth. Yahoo has more users and like 1/20th the cash. What does that tell you? They tried to get rich on the users instead of the advertisers.

The best thing they can do is copy the current business model and try to come up with an idea as great as google earth. I don't know if I would hold Yahoo - its a risky stock but I like many of their core strengths. Bottom line - Yahoo needs to copy Google's model.
