As mentioned above, we are all sinners and based on what the bible says as long as we believe in Jesus we shall never perish. That was the point of Jesus dying - he paid the ultimate sacrifice for sin. As far as homosexuals are concerned the bible clearly condemns it but the bible talks mostly about LUST. I feel homosexuality where you have sex with anyone without love can be a perversion but why doesn't the bible speak of a loving faithful monogamous relationship? The bible does not mention anything about this. In fact when Jesus was preaching he gave a new law - to love one another. Do you feel that that God sends all homosexuals to hell? We all should repent our ways but what if you are in fellowship with Christ but don't repent everything - or slip here and there - you still go to hell? I thought the whole point of Jesus dying was for our sins and we should recognize that and follow him. Opinions on the above please -

No human being can accurately answer that question in full since judgement will be done by God.
However, the bible does speak of homosexuality and does address different levels. At one point Jesus said that some are born that way and some are made that way by man and some choose to be that way.
The key issue to salvation (not heaven because there are different levels of heaven) is that one believe in God with all thy heart and mind and that one confess the Lord Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior and that one does confess with one's mouth that Jesus Christ rose from the Dead.
Personally I do not believe that slips here and there will condemn anyone, provided that the slips are accidental or unintentional and not done on purpose. After all , we are all human.
As to your other question the bible does speak of a monogamous relationship when Jesus speaks of becoming one flesh. He's the one that changed it all and brought the thinking away from the old testament way of thinking.

Sinners we are. Sad yes, but true. It is human nature to do addictive things like swearing, premarital sex, lusting so on and so forth. There was something created though to cleanse ourselves so that we might get into heaven. Baptism! It says clearly in the bible that if we are baptized of the spirit and water we may enter the kingdom of God and live with him for all of eternity. Now to address homosexuality. Almighty God flooded the earth to rid the world of the sinners and the non believers. Among these were satanic worshipers, homosexuals, people that practice witchcraft or other sorcery but not limited too. Its simple really God had made man for woman and woman for man. They fit together. Man with man
or woman with woman was pretty much an insult to god who created woman from man for man to fill the earth. To wrap things up It says in the bible that he will send homosexuals to hell. If you believe in the bible then that is what will happen. On
a final note, if you are baptized in Christ you will enter the gates of heaven even if you slip up after. You must pray to God and repent and the loving God that he is will forgive you. I hope this answer was helpful and have a nice day : )

In Christian theology, there are two parts to forgiveness. You will find them listed in 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

God does more than just "overlook" or "excuse" sin. when he forgives it, he also cleanse us from it so that we no longer continue in that sin. If there is not cleansing, then there was no confession and no forgiveness. So a Christian who continues to live in the same sin is not forgiven of it.

You argue that there is a difference between homosexuality is that "only for lust" - such as sex with a stranger or a bar pickup - and a loving relationship. Unfortunately, there is not a single scripture in the Bible which makes such a difference. Rather, you will find one in 1 Corinthians 6:9, where is list both male prostitution (your one night stand) and homosexuality in the same verse, calling both a sin. So it is a difficult position to define from the text of scripture.

But lets carry that argument one step further. But that same agrument, that would mean that a heterosexual couple who stays in a loving relationship would not be guilty of "fornication" - again a difficult agument to support form the Bible. It says all sex outside of marriage of a sin. Or what about the married man who has a loving relationship with a mistress on the side for many years. Does the longevity of the affair suddenly make it right?

The event that people always try to point to to excuse sexual sins is in John 8, where Jesus spares the life of a woman caught in adultery. But he did not just excuse her actions, or send her back to continue in her prostitution. He told her to "sin no more". He tells us the same thing today if we want his forgiveness. We can not continue in a sinful lifestyle - whether homosexuality or anything else - and expect to get a free pass to heaven. Repenting - turning from the sin and quiting - it is required to continue in his forgiveness.

I will answer your questions the best I can. There are verses of scripture relating to the joining of man and woman ie the relationshipship you described as a loving faithful monogamous relationship.
I do not feel that all homosexuals go to hell.
If we slip here and there I dont think we go to hell either. That's the purpose of the Atonement. We have to do all we can do, then Christ's sacrifice makes up for the rest. But I wantr to emphasis we have to do all we can do and that includes repenting of sin as we recognise we have committed it, however large or small.

When a person repents they must know in their heart that they are on their way to hell for three types of sin. They are their willful choice to sin, their sin nature that they are born with and the sins that they commit that they do not know that they are committing. A homosexual will know that any homosexual behavior is a sin because if they have repented then the Holy Spirit will convict them of that sin. The homosexual will not want to sin because of the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Will the homosexual ever stop his or her practices? That is between them and God. Will they go to heaven even if they die and have never overcome their homosexual practices? If they have repented they will be in heaven according to the Word of God.

Whether it's homosexuality or drugs or adultery or being a thief, we are sent to hell for breaking God's Laws.

When He redeems us from our sinful lifestyle, He expects us to live by the NEW spirit within us, and not by the old ways of the flesh.

Yes, it's true that we mess up, but if we're living in ongoing continual sin, with no real repentance, then how CAN God bring us to heaven?

I'm not talking about slipping up here or there, I'm talking about living in sin as your lifestyle, no matter WHAT form that sin takes.

And, by the way, even if homosexuality were NOT a sin, they would STILL go to hell, because they're still guilty of breaking the REST of God's Law.

In the same way, if a homosexual QUITS being a homosexual, that does NOT mean he or she automatically goes to heaven, for the same reason - they're STILL guilty of breaking God's Law and living in sin!

In other words, homosexuality isn't what sends a person to hell - SIN sends us to hell. Repentance of ALL known sin, and faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord (boss) is what gets us OUT of hell.

yes, and yes. anybody can believe in Jesus, but that doesn't mean that believing in him will save you from death or judgment. if that were the case, all we would have to do is just believe and anybody can do that, even Satan is a believer. anyway, yes, he paid the sacrifice for our reconciliation and our being able to approach God, he did this on our behalf, having been the corresponding perfect, unblemished sacrificial lamb, if you will, foreshadowed by the old testament sacrifices. salvation is an ongoing thing that has to be worked at. we are sinners by nature of our inherited imperfection, but Jesus' sacrifice doesn't give us a get out of jail free card to use as we please. we have to repent everyday for our sins and strive to please God on a constant basis. we will never be perfect in this life and in this body. as regards homosexuality, yes the bible is clear about it, no doubt about that. i don't get into this because it would be a never ending, nerve wrecking, knock down, dragged out debate that i wouldn't give the mental energy to. some of us have challenges that we have to work very hard to overcome and we have to rely on God and his word to help us. we really must focus on God and what path he leads us on, and to be sure, there will be temptation there. even Jesus the Christ was being tempted by Satan, so who are we to think that we should not be tempted. i believe in love and i don't think Jesus was cosigning the lifestyle that the bible condemns when he said love one another. and yes, we will slip here and there. i believe at the end of the day, God will look at our deeds and what is in our hearts, are we hearfelt and sincere? and for those who put themselves in the position of the Pharisees, those big time, money grubbing preachers who are fleecing the flock for their own material advancement, who are like the Pied Piper of Hamlin, they will have an even greater judgement to anwer to because they place themselves in a position of leadership over a tender flock who look for God's mercy and grace, and then are led to destruction. they will have the ultimate price to pay, which is death with no hope of a resurrection. continue to read the bible for enlightment and understanding. i wish you the best...

I would say that people who believe as you do are split about 50/50 as far as homosexuality is concerned. For some, the mere existence of it is a sin and there is no acceptable level of participation in homosexual sex, since they believe that sex is only acceptable in ways that allow for procreation. For others, love and fidelity is what counts and they believe Jesus loves homosexuals the same as the rest of us. There are variations in between, of course, but you have to decide where on the scale you are and pick your church accordingly.

God sends those who are not saved to hell. No one here can answer if someone is lost or saved, but when someone continues in sin, then we can't but wonder. God didn't have to speak of love with homosexuals. Its a sin period. No matter if there is love or not. I am sure in Sodom and Gomorrah people loved each other too, but God destroyed that city.

To love one another means to care for one another and not cause harm, not cause harm, if God didn't approve of homosexuality why would he bring them into the world with that train of thought. He gave himself up for our sins, no matter how bad, but it doesn't mean we have to stop living the way we work hard for.Maybe i'm misreading but, if we gave ourselves up for our sins what would have been the point of him dying?Jesus is with us everywhere we go we don't exactly have to worship him at his home(Church). As long as we ask for forgiveness he will accept us for who we are and no matter what we do.
