If you're buying a 2nd hand car and the dealer says its a bargain, just have faith in him and hand over your cash.

Faith is useful all the time.

When it comes to religion in Sweden, it’s said that about 75-80 % belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sweden.

I believe that’s a bit misleading facts, since many Swedes only belongs to the church because up to 1996 in Sweden, you were automatically a member of the Swedish Church when you were born - as long as you didn’t manually cancel your membership.

Many Swedes have during the latest years (since the seventies) done just that - step out from the Swedish Church. The main reason for it is that many Swedes don’t have the faith at all - or have a very weak faith in God - and the membership costs you money. You have to pay Church tax if you’re a member - for something you don’t even believe in.

Since 1996, only children that are baptized automatically become members of the Swedish church, which means that the number is decreasing for every year. The Church of Sweden services are very sparsely attended nowadays.

Personally I don’t know any one that attend church services regularly.

We’re just not brought up being active Christians and you know how hard coded everything is that you learn as a child. Only 3 out of 10 Swedes state that they have confidence in the church and only 1 in 10 Swedes thinks religion is important in daily life. Of course that is inherited.

You have to bear in mind that Sweden is a very open-minded country, often at the forefront of change. Maybe it is our heritage from the Norse paganism, when we were worshiping Æsir gods before the eleventh century, I don’t know…

Swedes are characterized by a general confidence in values of liberty and a positive view of frankness, tolerance, trust, and respect for other people, according to a study carried out by Uppsala University.

In the secularized Sweden the church is forced to be very liberal and open to a modern delivery of the Christian faith, which hasn’t been the fact earlier, but might be in change lately. Otherwise the Swedes might feel like the church is too authoritarian – an attitude

Faith has been perverted into a form of fear.

Faith in hell and eternal torment.
Faith in the indoctrination of the church
Faith in the ministers

All of it changes the faith from Jesus and God toward the church.

The church itself is a perversion of the original word, ekklesia. A community, not an authority structure.

In a phrase, it gives hope.

Man has been trying to get "it" right for thousands of years and have failed utterly. I look at the world and see no hope for mankind's future ... no hope that MAN can fix what ails this planet and the human family that lives on it.

Faith let's me sleep at night because I know things are in the hands of someone who can and will, at the right time, set this right.

What is more useful then to believe in a God in Heaven who loves you?

I assume it is necessary when it comes to human relations, however it shouldn't be applied to common knowledge. Faith is needed as trust but not as an explanation of an event.

Strong faith that God sees every thing we do good and bad,
and God's Angels that are assigned to each of us are recording our deeds, and our life in hereafter depends on our deeds, the thought of punishment in hell fire

WILL STOP US FROM DOING ANY THING WRONG AND AGAINST THE TEACHINGS OF OUR RELIGION.

Strong Faith that God returns us back ten times more in this life of what ever charity we give in the name of God and also forgives your sins

ENCOURAGES US TO GIVE CHARITY TO NEEDY FOR GETTING OUR SINS FORGIVEN SO WE SAVE OURSELVES FROM HELL FIRE AND THOSE WE ARE MORE INTERESTED IN 10 TIMES RETURN MAY ALSO GIVE CHARITY.

Strong Faith that God is as near to us as our jegular vein,

WE TEND TO WORSHIP WITH SO CONCENTRATION TO GOD LIKE WE ARE TALKING TO SOME ONE AND THAT IS THE BEST WORSHIP. FAITH RISES OUR GOOS BUMPS, OUR EYES FLOW TEARS AND WAVES FLOW THROGUH OUR BODY FROM HEAD TOWARDS LEGS LIKE A SPIRIT IS PURIFYING OUR BODY AND CLEANING OUR SINS.

Such people deserve Heaven and God promises for them in Quran that they have no fear of the Day of Judgement

It serves as a constant reminder of how religion values ignorance over reality and skepticism.

It's serves as entertainment for the rest of us whenever they say something like "Praise the Lord" or "Jesus is King."

I chuckle every time.
