If you want to know about so-called psychics I suggest reading Derrin Browns A Trick Of The Mind. This book really shows the tricks and language the psychics use and how most people are easily fooled into believing what they are told. There are some really good examples in the book and once you have read it you will be far more cynical about whether or not someone has a psychic ability or is just using clever language and vague explanations to sound knowledgable.

Yes, they are all fakes whether they admit it or not, even to themselves. They are worse than grave robbers, preying on the bereaved, the troubled and the weak.
If there are any psychics reading this, prove everyone wrong and take Randi's challenge, if you claim, as others who refuse usually do, that you don't want the $1,000,000, or you don't do it for the money, or any other flimsy excuse, donate $1,000,000 to children in need or any other worthy cause.
