No seller is obliged to accept the return on an item just because you "don't like it".

If it was damaged, yes.
If it was faulty, yes.
If it was incorrectly advertised, yes.
Because you made a mistake, no.

After 16 days there is no chance that i would refund you without the set being defective and even then it would depend on if the tv is second hand or brand new.

I would check your sellers terms and conditions before contacting them.

However if your seller agrees to except the returned item remember that you may be charged for the initial postage charge, the return postage charge( must be tracked) and you may also be charged a restocking fee from your refund (this can be as much as £50), all legally.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but personally I would advertise it as "almost new" "low starting price" -Keep the reserve on it near value but your fees will be lower if your using eba* and try and recoup some of the money that way.

Use a courier firm to deliver as they work out cheaper and box it yourself.

Good luck

Your'e best off contacting the seller. Explain the problem, they may accept you can package it up in another box.
However, if the seller stated that the return policy was within 14 days with original packaging then there is little you can do as by bidding you are then bound by the sellers terms.

However it is worth contacting the seller anyway.

You could always sell the tv yourself if that doesnt work.

Okay I get this attitude from my cousin, sh doesn't take BS from no one. I had a similar problem at Amazon( a dvd recorder that was defective.) I returned the device, and listed the problems; also you MUST threaten the seller that you mean business! I wrote a note in ms word, and stated " I will uarantee that you'll be banned from selling on Amazon if you do not replace this with a working device!" Now most sellers make a living from their selling account, so trust me they'll exchange it. i MUST WARN YOU TO TINK IF THE HIGH COST OF SIPPING IS WORT IT OR NOT? Good luck-- and God bless you
