seems like his prupose is to only spite Catholics. well, it's just an observation I had basing on his answer here and all of his answers concerning Catholics: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071106042614AAnOzWE&r=w&pa=FZptHWf.BGRX3OFMiDBWVY7L1ACZCPM53zq3QVDiYVuNPzrC_Q--&paid=answered#JsZXCHG5CTDP0wsod9Wa

Susan L, before you preach know if the person believes in your Bible first. you should start there.

Anyone who says Catholics are not Christians is just an ill-informed moron who doesn't know the history of the Christian church.

I can tell you that this Chris, CJ, or whatever he wishes to call himself is so misguided that I have stopped paying attention to his rants about, the "false gospel".
First of all Catholics follow the one and only Gospel that is the Gospel of Christ.
Second the one faith that actually put the canon together is the same faith that existed from the beginning, is existant now and will be in the future, and the reason Chris even has a Bible to read from in the first place.
Thirdly, Catholicism is the Truth Way and the Life, for we are the body of Christ, the people He shepards, His flock.
It is sad that people who have no understanding of what it is to be truly Catholic, truly Christian, would even make remarks as this Chris does, but such is the way of the those who are present to pervert the truth for their own gain.
May God keep you always, and know that I do pray for everyone, especially the Chris' of the world, because their hearts of hate must be prayed for with all our hearts.

If Chris was so knowledgeable he would know that Jesus left Peter in charge of the Church, that the Apostles kept the faith that was given to them by Him and it evolved slowly because it takes time for people to change. The one burst of enlightenment on Pentacost Sunday changed the world but people will always have their seamier side; read the Acts of the Apostles' there were people that were showing off, looking for the magic & working things to their particular advantage. Paul went to Peter to reconcile what he learned and worked with the Apostles, he didn't just make something up on his own as some groups try to say.
The Church has had leadership continuously despite the politics, the scandals, & the persecutions it has endured. Anyone that actually studies the Church Fathers writings and the history will come to same conclusion; that the Church is the faith given from Jesus to us. He gave the apostles the means to set up a hierarchy. There is only one True Faith and one True Church, that knowledge also comes from God. We each have to look deep within ourselves asking for guidance and strength to make those right choices. It is not an easy choice and it certainly is not an easy life. But Jesus didn't say that it would be easy He just said we are loved.

You shouldn't spite anyone.
I used to be very bittier about the fundamentalist way I was raised. But I got over it because hate only hurts the hater.
I get irritated with the Catholic bashing too. Those who became Catholics as adults probably know more about the church than cradle Catholics. Some protestants are just ignorant and like to stay that way.

I've heard other people say these sorts of thing about Catholics. Whether or not it's a valid point, it's really not our place to judge others. Choosing the "right branch" of Christianity doesn't guarantee salvation. Only God knows what's in a person's heart.

I think it's CJ.
And now reading the other answers, I see I was right...lol.
I mean, look, I enjoy Christian in-fighting as much as the next guy, but I find myself defending Catholics against unfair attacks by "fundie" types all the time - even though I think both brands are equally batty, and even though both brands would say I'm going to hell. I have no problem with "fair" attacks, but for one Christian to attack another in the way that CJ/Chris does is just sheer dogmatic bigotry.

and if that is the case so what; turn the other cheek; God always wins in the end how can he not ; we can take it; when you know better; contradiction can't sway me ; how can you see the speck in the eye of someone else when we can't see the log in our own; start there first; put your faith in God ; he is the only one that knows what is in the heart of someone

he is one of those people that atheists love, he is so bitter, small minded and judgemental and he is a really bad advert for christianity. i suspect that at some stage he has been thrown out of a catholic church. he certainly knows nothing of christian values and certainly appears to be heading for hell
