Equating politics with ethics is an OXYMORON, a contradiction in terms within the same sentence.

Do the voters care for ethics, if yes, they will get leaders with ethics.

I also detest the slimy shower of incompetent under worked and overpaid MP's under which we suffer I particularly refer to the "government MPs who have failed to carry out the one task they are elected for and that is to bring the executive to account. sadly this is one of the problems with large majorities. it gives the Executive a freer hand, because those elected on their ticket are not likely to vote them selves and their party out of office. I have to admit some politicians are worth admiration but they never ever get to ministerial level

Politicians should be required to carry a short length of rope everywhere they go.
That way when we need to hang em we won't have to hunt for a rope.

i think its about time we demanded laws that put them in prison for a long time for dishonesty. they currently just walk away from theft. deception and all! sorts of crimes. how can we expect our young to respect the law when the law is as crooked as the government.

Absolutely none; that is why they label themselves 'Honourable' just to kid themselves and us.
I like the 'Oxymoron' answer, however I would like to change the definition to 'a bunch of morons using up oxygen'.
