This man (and I use this term loosely!) is asserting his position in the relationship, making you feel useless and undermining your self-confidence. Don't let him intimidate and berate you. If he has to make you feel lousy to make himself feel better he must be a ...real...big....man.
You are a valuable person (with a heart of gold I suspect) and deserve to be treated with respect. Your generosity is touching.
Dry your eyes hon...go buy yourself a treat/step out into the sunshine/go for a walk/do something for yourself....you deserve it!!!

P.S. You need to stop wasting money on this man who is obviously not appreciating you for the wonderful person you are.

I agree w/ you. But consider this lesson I learned from another woman when I was compaining about my husband. ( and believe me, I have a list). Her husband was an abusive drunk that wasted the family money, he was also snorting cocaine and was being unfaithful. She had 3 kids and was not able to financially divroce him. Plus she didn't want to have her kids in the care of a drunk and his alcoholic buddies every other weekend.Makes those farts smell a little sweeter doesn't it. BTW: I heard Kane's furniture is having a sale on sofa beds.

sounds alot like my hubby u need to make plans to leave like i am. emotional abuse turns into physical abuse besides think of this do you want him to talk to ur child that way because sooner or later he will and worse ur child could end up acting the same way what has finally opened my eyes is my son is now starting to act jus like him or u could get so depressed that u will start to think there is nothing left to live for so and who will raise ur child then ?get out while u can

Sounds to me this guy is all about himself and which is very very selfish no one can tell you what to do but i dont see him changing for you maybe it would be in your best interest to seek marriage counseling and if he refuses maybe you need some seperation time because he isnt showing any respect for you and its not going to change unless something is done.

If you are with a selfish, abusive man, it's your choice, hon.

Why are you living this way? Maybe you can talk to someone in your family or a good friend you respect and admire... you really need someone to listen and perhaps give you good advice and direction.

YOU DESERVE good things, too. Please stop beating yourself up and take measures for change... no one else will do it for you... hugs
