I have been trying to sellmy wedding dress for the past month now. I have out it on ebay and inthe trade it but no luck is there anywhere ese which doens't charge to advertise.
I live in Bristol, england does anyone know of any shops around that may buy it off me???? To sell on?

Do you have a sunflower charity shop in Bristol? They take good secondhand clothes put them up for sale and then take a percentage when the item sells and gives the rest to you.

In Newent (near gloucester) there is a shop called the stock exchange, they take good quality items only. the only downside is they keep half of the selling price.

Try selling it on the confetti.co.uk website as they have a form where you can sell wedding dresses. Hopefully this will help you

gumtree is a free site hwere you can sell stuff on
put a pic and details on a card and photo copy then stick them in the post office, local newsagent window etc

My question is why do you want to sell it? its a very memorable thing you have unless there's a problem behind it. Oh well try to include it on your garage sale or shops accepting 2nd hand things...

You could try in your local paper, I live in newark, nottinghamshire and they have an add bit at the back. How about the ad-mag? Or put an add up in your local shop.

If you re-list on ebay and it doesn't sell they refund the listing fee so try again.

what about a consignment shop? they might be able to sell it and get you a decent price for it . good luck and god bless.
