Do you know, if this is effective in treating bacteria and parasites and parvo in house pets? I just read this article, and I do not know, if I believe it.http://www.northernwatchdog.com/colloidal_silver_handbook.htm

It's used it to treat any number of things for both people and animals. I personally wouldn't try using it for parasites and parvo and would stick to more conventional methods of treatment.

Before the days of modern antibiotics there was colloidal silver.

It has been used for many years and though it is an effective bacteriostat (germ killer) I cannot attest to it's effectiveness regarding parasites and viruses such as parvo.

However, it is generally safe for use in humans and I would not be hesitant to try it on a pet.
