I did cheat on her more than once. I was a bad boyfriend- I admit that! But then she bought this pair of scissors and well, I have definitely straightened up! I guess I have to admit that the threats did work in that sense, because I've been a very model boyfriend since then.

But was she justified to threaten my precious manhood like that?

And if so- why?

I don't know which is more pathetic -- staying with a man you have to threaten with castration with a pair of scissors to keep honest... or being a man who has to be threatened with castration before he doesn't $(#*&$ around on his girlfriend.

Ever occur to you that justifying HER behavior is about the last thing you should be concerned with right now?
Grow up.

But in the off-chance you don't grow up any time soon: if it's taking a pair of scissors to keep you "committed" -- you aren't. Do yourselves both a huge favor and one, if not both of you -- run far, run fast, and don't look back. And make sure your "precious manhood" is tucked between your legs the whole way.

Might want to stop in at the free clinic on your way out, too.

Sorry to say, but yes she was justified! Trust is precious in relationships- it is very fragile and seems to be more important to women than to men. You hurt her in a horrible way- it is the best way for any woman to show the man the amount of hurt she is feeling.

No I would have cut the string that tied us together, and cut a path to a guy I could trust. Once a cheater, always a cheater, you'll just be careful you don't get caught the next time. If you really loved her, you wouldn't have had to be threatened.
