Can you help me get a boyfriend?

Today I went outside and then people were staring at me and then one guy was like walking in front of me back and forth and then he smiled at me. So I followed all your advice and I smiled back, but then that's it. He did nothing. Some guys just went up to my face and give me a nasty look and say "sexy", but no I don't want those men. Another man who was decent stared at me for so long and I stared back, and he was gonna approach me and then he decided to go back and left. Then this man who was like 40ish is the one who went up to me and told me oh you're so beautiful i wanna squeeze you, Okay I am 18. So the people who are like my age or a little bit older [19 - 25] than me won't approach me, but the one who's almost my parents' age [40ish] will? What must I do to get you men to approach me?

I don't have a pic but people tell me I look like the girl on the left and I dress like that too, my hair is also like that but darker.

PS - Please don't say "haha yeah right" or "you wish" or whatever remarks, I'm not here to brag and don't judge either, I just want your help. I don't get why I see a lot of nerdy/geeky girls, mean girls and slutty girls with decent men, but they won't even give me a chance...

Yeah, some of the opinions above seem rather logical, I would definitely say that perhaps you may come across as "unapproachable" or perhaps you are really beautiful and that people won't approach you because of this - they may or are scared of rejection or they might think they are out of your league? The ones that do approach you are the confident ones... its so hard sometimes hey? I'm in my mid 20's and I have friends (similar age, both guys and girls) who find it extremely hard to date or even "pick up"... perhaps you could even venture out of the circle of friends you currently have and try something different or have a different approach?

Look im not going to be mean so i wont even comment on the picture ok because you no Alysso Milano.

But anyway STOP LOOKING people pick off vibes off people and when you are constantly looking and wanting someone you wont get them you might even come across desperate (im not saying you are) Your 18 there is no rush you will find someone when the time is right you dont need to leave the house and hope someone will come up to you and ask you out on a date it doesnt happen that way well not alot of the time maybe only 5% of the time.
Go out have fun enjoy your single time while your still young and you will meet someone but dont expect it just to fall in your lap.

Perhaps you don't look approachable. Beauty can be a terrible handicap.Oftentimes a male will feel intimidated by beauty, unworthy of it. Other men will regard beauty as a trophy to be won and discarded. Good luck !!!!

that's tense for you, yet your mom is purely protecting you and does not opt for something to take place to you. Age difference does not count she would be in a position to continuously assume a guy is to old for you via fact you're her daughter. And sure your mom would have met your father an identical time you met yours and your mom in all probability made some blunders that she purely does not opt for repeated to you. purely hear to her via fact in the tip if something does take place to you, you will sense undesirable for no longer listening and you'd be apologetic with regard to the result.
