Micah 6:8, "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and WHAT DOTH THE LORD REQUIRE OF THEE, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"
To me, that sums it up!!!

Hosea, was expressing what a lot of us are saying to THE HOLIER THAN THOU CROWD. Both Old and New Testaments say it..Acts 10, Acts15:29,1st Timothy 4:3, 2nd Timothy 2:23....that doesn't make you holy.
The spirit in worship and praise is a sacrifice of your spirit. God wants Personal Relationship and for us to be of service to each other, regardeless of social Status, race or gender. Acts 10

God wants our hearts, all of it. HE wants us to know Him and love Him, IF we dont really know God and dont truly love Him, we would never even know how to live for Him, as He commands us to do. HE does want us to be in hoiness and purity, it is a requirement. But, way before that, He wants our love, our hearts fully dedicated and submitted to Him every moment of every day, and counting it all as Joy.
The main this is we are to KNOW Him. Once we do, the rest comes naturally, the obdience, changes hearts, changed minds, and changed lives, as we live in Christ, with His character and His mind, as the new creation believer, no longer of the gallen sin nature, but now the nature of Christ.
Love is the key, and God is love. Thats what it ALL is about. God wants us to be free from sin, not free to sin, to protect us, and when we love Him the way He loves us, we will do all that God commands us to do> It starts with a desire to KNOW HIM MORE every day. Hugner for it, thrist fot it, ask for it, and you will receive it all.
Great question. God bless you,
and yes , this is great music, all day long, great music as we sing to the Lord our praises for all He is and all HE does for us. How can we say thank you enough?? By living for Him and giving HIm all of our hearts. WE are either fully His or we arent His at all.
Knwoing HIm, loving HIm, obeying Him. ALL OUR CHOICES .
Just as believeing in HIm is a choice. So are the others.
All I want is to know HIm more.
Hallelujah. How can anyone say No to GOD????????

He wants the same thing all parents want, a loving relationship with their children. One of the hardest times for parents is when they arrive at the age of rebelling and decide everything their parent thinks is wrong.

God wants only two things. First that we love him with all our heart, body and mind and that we love each other as ourselves.
