I want to setup Window XP SP2 and Ubuntu 7.10 in the same computer is ok? is that speed of my computer down?
I wanna do that, because I wanna setup some soft like Netbean( and Java SDK....) in Ubuntu. If I setup these soft in XP, speed of my computer will down.

Should be ok if you have them on different partitions and you sufficient gigabytes of storage ~~

Yup I have a Vista and Kubuntu machine up and running well. If your hard drive is large enough leave some free space. Make this space FAT32 so that both operating systems can write to it.

I have done the same thing it wont effect your computer at all.
