The guy who mentioned about getting your macro certified is right. Just do a search for certifying macros in Excel. It will take you to a Microsoft website where you can download a little program to certify your macros. Then whoever uses your macros can specify that you are a trusted source. This allows them to keep their macro security levels to high but to still be able to open your macros and use them.

Rather than do that why not certify the macro so it is trusted. This way you will not be bothered by the question of whether the code is safe or not.

finding on your version of place of work, via fact the previous poster noted, having macros run while a workbook opens may be puzzling. by utilising default Excel would not enable macros to run without the consumer extraordinarily allowing them. you may enable that habit by utilising enhancing macro risk-free practices and allowing all macros to run, yet that it somewhat no longer stated. you may desire to attempt putting a message on the 1st worksheet and then enhancing that message as quickly as macro are enabled by utilising the consumer, yet that would desire to require putting the message returned on the workbook close journey.

You would be better off asking this question in the microsoft community for XL or VBA. Below is the link to take you there. You will need to sign up (it is free)
