Adderal work great for him but I hate giving him drugs

Try 'Valerian' - that's seems to work for my ADD.

How old is your son? I suggest giving him more activities outside of the house. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was in the 4th grade. Drugs only made me sleepy and resentful. I was bored at school and they couldn't keep my attention. I did well in the subjects that I liked but did awful with the subjects I didn't like. Luckily my parents never allowed me to use ADD as an excuse and held me to the same standard as everyone else. I got through school with a C average. I went to college and did well because I took classes I was interested in. I averaged a 3.50 GPA in college and graduated. I highly suggest not drugging your kid unless absolutely necessary. Don't let it be a crutch either. Get your kid involved in activities he likes to do and watch him strive. Good luck.

Fish oil tablets - I have heard of great success with these tablets on Add children

It takes alot of energy on your part, but keep him busy, diciplined, and try to get him to focus on one thing at a time and finish every task before he moves on to another. It s a full time JOB! and sometimes a very heart breaking one at that, hang tough, it aint gonna be easy.

If Adderall works, why stop?
I figure that if the body needs that chemical, then supply it. Diabetics need insulin. People with high blood pressure take bp meds.
It's only "drugs," if you take it when you don't need it and it's not prescribed.
