Yes, I dislike those chain e-mails, too. Whoever starts them really needs to get a new and more constructive hobby. My mother and grandmother, as much as I dearly love them, are notorious for passing on chain e-mails. After getting a few rather rude responses from other family members, they now send chain e-mails to me and ask me to verify whether they're true or not. They never are.

It sure is. Especially when you keep getting the same fwd again and again and again from different friends. For example, this forward about a 2 year old cancer patient. It said the mother had 2 months to raise the money and aol or someone was paying 1c for every time the mail was fwded. And what do you think! The same mail with the same words with the same photos found its way to my inbox a year after. 1 month = 1 year? confusing and annoying!!!
Oh n btw, f'ship, family, love all STILL mean the same to me. Persistant sappy fwds mean nothing to me! I'm sick of these e mails too!

Yeah ! It is extremely irritating . Especially the ones that tell you that you will die if you don't forward so and so mail to at least ten people. On the other hand , some of them are informative like one of them informed people not to drink coca cola and eat Mentos together as it is extremely dangerous .

What bothers me is that so many of them are false-we've all gotten the one about the senate voting to give illegal immigrants SS benefits, or the guys pretending to sell perfume in parking lots that's some kind of instant knock out drug-don't waste my time if you can't even be bothered to type "snopes".

Yes! It's an insult that your so-called friends keep forwarding urban legend junk to you instead of properly staying in touch. Time to clear out some addresses I think.......

I wish there was a way to stop the madness... I just delete them without reading.

The ones I really hate are the ones you MUST forward to twenty or thirty people! I hated chain letters before computers came into being; now they have chain emails! AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

It is simple to tackle such forwards. You ignore them and ignore the persons who send them.
