Most dogs don't want babies.

Lay her down and put the babies on a tit. You are the human make her feed them. Have to do it all the time because so ignorant A$$hole thought the dog should be a momma.

I had one litter that by three weeks one of the babies was attacking moms face to let the others nurse - make it happen.

Is the sack off of them. Then she cleaned them.

Be sure to get them vetting ASAP!!! I am so sick of people thinking its just a dog it does it in the wild by itself.

Added:

Contact a rescue ASAP to help get all the vetting an proper homes for the dogs!!! Make sure they do prepubescint spay and neuters.

If mom did not have appropriate shots before she got pregnant get her to a vet for a shot NOW!!!

I would definately go to hand raising the pups and get her spayed as soon as possible. In most cases when they get like that they will kill the pups.
have you had them at the vets, there is a possibility that thereis something wrong withthe pups. But probably just not a good mom.
Good luck

My first thought would be that this ***** is not done whelping. Take her to the vet and have the vet x-ray and make sure that she is done. If she is, then ask the vet about bottle and tube feeding them to supplement them. You might need to hold her down and make her nurse the pups, and then pull the pups back out. It would be nice for them to get the colostrum at least from mom.

Just like humans, some dogs are not good mommies. The response regarding holding her down so they get colostrum was quite right, they'll need it for their immune systems. After they nurse a few times, get them on bottle feedings. First thing, though, consult your vet, he/she will be able to advise you.

i think the best thing to do is hand raise them, the mother probable doesnt know what to do with the puppies, for some first time moms its really overwellming for them to handle. i would hand feed them and be the serigant parent, and as each day comes let the mother smell her puppies, if she still denies them, then your gonna have to care for them yourself. ive actually had a chance to hand raise puppies, due to the mothers milk not being drinkable for the puppies, it was rotton, but its awesome, to hand feed them and berp them, there like little babies. good luck..

Hopefully she is just tired and will take to them soon. Unfortunately, like humans, some aren't meant to be a parent.
Good luck!
