I have been where you are. I used to say pretty often that I didn't know why God chose me. But then I look back and see what He had to work with before I was saved; A suicidal Bisexual man who had nothing. I finally decided to give God a chance - I was going to kill myself anyway.
When I start to feel melancholy, as I have been these past days, I remember where I was when I decided to trust God. I have found out since that He had been wanting me all along. No one can come to Him unless God wants them. So what is that? Is that love? Maybe. I think that it's an expression of His love.
Am I pleasing to Him? Well, The Bible says that without faith it's impossible to please God. Yet I trust Him, my current promises are:
3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
( Psalm 37 )
So I picked those promises to dwell in, to trust Him for what He said, just as I trusted Him for salvation when I first became a Christian. I don't know what He will do with me concerning those promises, I don't know how they will ever manifest while here on Earth, I am not a very righteous person. But I do know that Hebrews 11 says that some have died not having obtained the promise, and so too I am willing to die holding on to His word. That's supposed to be trusting in Him in knowledge of His word, which is faith. The confidence part of faith comes with the Spirit and by hearing of the word.
As far as doing wrong; what else is new? I knew how to choose wrong before I knew how to choose right. It's the doing right part that I seek, the doing wrong comes natural, the doing right is supernatural. There is nothing that I can do of myself that is pleasing to God, only those things where the Spirit of God is at work through my members is what is right.
I hope that was clear to you. I will have to read it in order to know what I wrote! lol

The Bible is the source of our knowledge and understanding of who God is and isnt. There is no other source that explains who Jesus Christ is that has ever been consistent and infallible. The only other sources are born of the human mind and wishful thinking. Jesus Himself was the biggest promoter of following and knowing scripture(the Old Testament at that time). And so was Paul. Of the ancient writings in all of antiquity it is the Judeo Christian scriptures that are by far the most numerous and of which the copies agree with one another. There are no other ancient texts that even come close to the Biblical scriptures in number and redundancy. People assume that the Bible is made from error filled copies to yet more errored copies and on and on. Winding up with a hodge podge of what once was the true scriptures. This is far from the truth. There are some 27,000 ancient Judeo Christian texts, parchments and scrolls. There is absolutely no evidence that the Bible has been revised, edited, or tampered with in any systematic manner. The sheer volume of Biblical manuscripts makes it simple to recognize any attempts to distort God’s Word. There is no major doctrine of the Bible that is put in doubt as a result of the minor differences that exist between manuscripts. Lastly, when people say that the Bible has degenerated from 2,000 years of recopying they fail to see that the Bible is written in about 200 different languages. And if you retranslated them back into the original Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic they still agree. The Bible is the most attacked book in history. It is the most popular book in history and still is today. The questions and doubts that you are having are born from listening to skeptics and those that are ignorant of Biblical history. Someone tells you that the Bible has been retranslated and watered down and you have believed them. Matthew 24 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my(Jesus)words will never pass away.

Doubting is not a part of faith, it is the opposite of faith. You doubt when you do not have faith. Faith come from "hearing". We are taught that in Romans 10. If you have doubts it is because you have not trained your spiritual ears to hear what God is saying in His Word. You need to spend more time in His Word, in quietness and prayer, and in time you will learn to hear the "still small voice" of God speaking to you through His Word. When you learn that you will no longer have doubts. It takes discipline. Anyone can walk down the beach and pick up the seashells, but you have to dive for the pearls.

Let me say that God knows where your heart is. If you are sincere with your walk with Christ, God knows it and will bless you for it. No one can take you out of Jesus's hand except you. Blessings are fruits of the spirit. Tha joy inLlving for God is unspeakaple and full of glory. Do not let people's comments and the devil deceive you. Since you started living for the Lord, they both will attack you. Let Jesus fight your principalities. Just keep preying. You will see. If you are through praying, then you are through. Keep the faith.

Well, first off, He chose you for a reason, He loves you and He won't give up on you. I just trust him completely and hope that what I do pleases Him. I try to do my best to do what He says to do. I know that I sometimes fail but if I repent and try not to do the same thing again He will forgive me. God Bless in your walk.

GOD created you in your mother's womb, HE knows all your faults and all your weakness. He knows your strengths.
He knows because He put them their, and He knows what others have put you through and what causes your choices.
I have learned that I could trust no one, not even myself to make the right choices. When I pray and ask according to the will of GOD in His Son Jesus' name. He does answer my prayers.
I was not raised in a Christian home, I was told that the bible was the nastiest book I could ever read, and that was if I could ever understand it.
I was hated by my own mother, and abandoned by my dad and his family. Totally rejected. After attempting suicide twice in one day ate age 15, my step dad call his pastor he prayer with me and I excepted Jesus, and was baptized a few months later.
I learned just because bad things had happened to me and still did after I was saved, that Satan knew something was different about me before I knew the Lord and he tried to take control over me through hatred and fear. These weakness became my strengths.
God created me, and only a Creator knows how to work His creation. You are NO mistake, God knows exactly who you are and how you work. God made NO mistake. You CAN TRUST IN HIM.

1.) I know I am not worthy of Gods graciousness and love, but I also know that no matter what, God gave a piece of himself to die for my sins and that the human brain is not capable of understanding that kind of love and forgiveness. I just have to look around and see for myself what God has given me to know how much he loves me. He has worked repeated wonders in my life even when at one time I had my doubts, but he has proven time and time again that I am worthy. Why would he continue to try to save us if he didn't love us? 2.) God knows that we are going to do things that displease him. It's what we do when we catch ourselves doing them. Do you try to stop doing it? or do you have a guilty feeling in your heart and want to correct it? These are the questions he has for us. He wants spiritual "progress" not spiritual "perfection" because we are incapable of perfection and he knows that. Just try to continue to do better at the things he wants and a little less of the things we want. GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS!!

My faith in God and my knowledge of God are intertwined. I came to God through faith and because of that my knowledge of God has increased.
I can't prove that God exists and i don't try to; but I am 100% sure that he does.

1. We are indeed created to please God, but we have our own choice. God reassures us in the Bible that He loves us even when we do wrong. As long as we see our wrong and repent we are forgiven.
2.The thought of God over your shoulder doesn't really set in before you do it (from experience) You might have the fight with your conscience but the guilt sets in after you've sin. As much as I feel bad for disobeying God again I'm equally glad that He's merciful and forgiving

1- That is what faith is. You ahve to have faith you are pleasing God. It doesn't hurt to talk to Him about it on occasion, though (i.e. PRAY).
2- That's what forgiveness is for. No one is perfect and no one will ever be.
