My 4Runner is in excellent shape with only 63k with the exception of the roof. I periodically waxed the car but was lazy and neglected the roof. Now there are those blotches of sun damage where the paint seems to have melted away and looks bad over about 50 percent of the roof. The rest of the paint is fine. I want to sell it and was wondering if its worth it to get that area touched up and what it would cost. I have a greenish blue original paint and how close can they match it up? Any help is appreciated!

To paint the roof, and for them to fade match it to the rest of your paint would be more money than you would want to spend.
Probably around $1000 dollars at any trust-worthy auto paint shop easily with labor costs.

It's not that big of a deal. No one even sees the roof unless they are putting something on it. It won't increase your selling value enough to make up for the amount you spent on getting it painted.

I believe Carl G. evade a Grand Cherokee or Rover. the two are unreliable and the 4 Runner can bypass everywhere a Rover can bypass and it will get you returned no longer basically like the Rover. The Grand Cherokee would not come close. ninety one-ninety 3 4 Runners had a keep in mind or TSB on the headgaskets. nonetheless, the issue is as we talk rectified by potential of Toyota and you're loose to force 500,000 miles quite common.
